Keeping your personal information private is vitally important to us. Seattle IT Pro User Group (SITPUG) does not sell, rent, or lease any of your personal information, including the information you provide or we receive from you as a result of your use of our services. SITPUG may occasionally update this privacy statement. When we do, we will also revise the “Last update” date at the end of this privacy policy.
Our Web server automatically recognizes the Internet Protocol (IP) address for each visitor to our Web site. We collect information on the pages that visitors access, as well as any information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information or site registrations. We utilize this information to help us build a more useful Web site for our visitors, and improve services for our members. The information we collect from you is never shared with other organizations.

We may release your account and other personal information when we believe release of such information is required to comply with the law, to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SITPUG, our members or others.

You may receive occasional emails from us on topics that may be of interest to you. You may also receive promotional emails from us, or our sponsors, to promote our sponsors’ services or products. If you directly contact SITPUG sponsors or other third-parties, you understand that you may be contacted by them directly and will be subject to their terms and privacy policy.
You can do the following at any time by contacting us:

  • See what data we have about you, if any
  • Correct or update any data we have about you
  • Express any concern you have about our use of your data

If you provide us with contact information such as phone, fax, e-mail, or mailing address via a survey or site registration, and subsequently do not want to receive communications from us in the future, please let us know. We will not sell the information you provide to anyone.
